Honey Glazed Salmon

Since the pandemic, my husband has been craving his favorite restaurant, Honey Glazed Salmon. After several attempts, I finally found the perfect recipe, and the best part is that for the same price as one platter, I can now serve my entire family without sacrificing taste.

This recipe is the simplest and most delectable I have discovered. It is ideal for a quick weeknight dinner because it only requires a few ingredients and comes together quickly.

The taste of salmon that melts in your mouth is truly delightful. When served with a side of salad or grilled vegetables, it becomes a well-balanced and satisfying meal.

Top Tips For Cooking Salmon:

It is very important to get your pan hot and thoroughly coated in oil. When you add the fish to the hot oil, it should sizzle. If it doesn’t, the pan isn’t hot enough. Tip: When cooking with hot oil, gently place fillets away from you to prevent splatter.

Let Your Salmon Be.

Allow the fillets to cook, undisturbed, for a few minutes. That, along with the high heat, is how you get that delicious crust. After 3 minutes, gently lift a corner of one fillet with a spatula; the fish releases easily, and it’s ready. If not, cook a little longer and flip to get crispy skin and fully cooked fish.

The Sauce (and its variations).

This honey-garlic sauce only requires a few staple ingredients: honey, low-sodium soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. This sauce is both delicious and highly versatile. It’s simple to make and can be paired with a variety of dishes. Replace lemon juice with lime; add red pepper flakes for heat. You can make things more interesting by adding some grated ginger to your recipe.

How To Serve Honey Glazed Salmon

This recipe is perfect with a variety of sides, my favorite one is steamed broccoli or asparagus with a side of rice to soak up all of the delicious honey-garlic sauce.

How To Store Leftover

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
