Ingredients

  • 6 slices white bread

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 2/3 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

  • 6 saffron threads (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 1/2 cup oil or ghee

  • 1 teaspoon Kewra essence (optional)
