This Cranberry Sauce or Chutney has a combination of dried dates and raisins with a kick of warm spices. The perfect complement to your festive meal

A festive holiday table always needs a finger-licking sauce, a sauce that will go with anything from chicken, turkey, kabab, rice dishes, and many more. In fact for me, cranberry sauce is exactly that.” It is a Thanksgiving classic, but you can easily add it to any Pakistani or Indian meal as a chutney or murabba.

Thanksgiving is the time to be grateful! Originally, it started as a celebration of the new harvest. Over time, different cultures introduced new foods and flavors to one another, creating a mix of flavors.

I like celebrating the holiday like them, especially with an array of multicultural food and American food with a desi twist!

A few years ago, I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner. That’s when the mixed cuisine array gave me the idea to make cranberry sauce with a desi twist.

The result was delicious. Not only did it pair well with the Indian and American dishes. The sauce was loved by everyone, and ever since then, I’ve known this is a keeper.
