This Cranberry Sauce or Chutney has a combination of dried dates and raisins with a kick of warm spices. The perfect complement to your festive meal

A must on a festive holiday table is a finger-licking sauce, a sauce that will go with anything from Chicken, Turkey, Beef, Rice dishes, and many more. Cranberry Sauce is my definition of that. It is traditionally eaten with a Thanksgiving meal but can be easily added to any Pakistani or Indian food as a chutney or Murabas.

Thanksgiving is the time of year to be grateful! Thanksgiving was originally started to celebrate a new harvest. With the new harvest, different cultures introduced new cuisines to each other. I love celebrating the holiday like them, with an array of multicultural food and American food with a desi twist!

I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago. The mixed cuisine array gave me the idea to make cranberry sauce with a desi twist. It was delicious and went well with the Indian and American dishes. The sauce was loved by everyone, and ever since then, I’ve known this is a keeper.
